Long hard day in the saddle for 2:30 hours. Had a flat before I got started and then another flat 2 laps into the race.
  Mike Schena: 2nd, Cat 3

The winner went with about 50 miles to go! I attacked a lot but everything got reeled in. Finally was able to get away just before the bell lap. Three guys bridged to me, we worked together for the last lap. Got a lead going into the final turn and was able to hold on for 2nd.
  Teresa Patrick: 3rd, Women 3-4

Kayla, Valarie and I rode with four lead 1/2/3s all the way for a sprint finish. The sprint was interesting because a men's field caught us just as they were finishing. So it was a mass, co-ed sprint. It was a fun race, very different because noone could get away and sometimes it was the 3/4s controlling the pace, instead of team Secret.

Tried to break about half way through but the small group chasing weren't prepared to pull through. Some seriously dodgy riding in the last 5 miles. Narrow roads and referee was strict on center line so hard to get good position. Someone cut across my wheal with 2 miles to go, spitting me back in the pack and couldn't forward again. Bummer.
